The SBI served a notice of suspicion to two police officers from Kup'iansk who gave away firearms to the occupants

In cooperation with the Department of Internal Security of the National Police of Ukraine, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation exposed two officers of the Kup'iansk District Police Department of the National Police of the Kharkiv region in collaboration with the occupiers.

During the temporary occupation of the city, law enforcement officers, instead of protecting the state from the aggressor, on their initiative, handed over service weapons and ammunition for it to the military formations of the russian federation.

Currently, the deputy chief of one of the units of the Kup'yansk District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, as well as the criminal intelligence detective of the police department, are notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The pre-trial investigation is underway.

Procedural guidance is carried out by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

The SBI will bring the case to court, and these collaborators and all others will receive fair punishment from the Ukrainian justice.
