The SBI initiates nationalization of the assets and corporate rights of Private Joint – Stock Company «Poltava Mining and Processing Plant»

The State Bureau of Investigation, together with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, is preparing an appeal to the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court with an administrative claim regarding the nationalization of the assets and corporate rights of Private Joint – Stock Company «Poltava Mining and Processing Plant».

In particular, it is proposed to nationalize 541 real estate objects, that are owned by the enterprise, as well as 172 land plots, that are in the long-term lease of the plant for 49 years. In addition, 2,382 railway cars and 53,331 linear meters of access tracks may be subjects to nationalization.

It is also proposed to the court to consider the transfer of corporate rights in the amount of 49.5% of the authorized capital of Private Joint – Stock Company «Poltava Mining and Processing Plant» to the state.

It should be reminded, that on September 20, 2024, investigators of the SBI sent the indictment against seven officials and officers of Private Joint – Stock Company «Poltava Mining and Processing Plant» to the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv. According to the investigation, the leadership of the enterprise, which belongs to the fugitive oligarch, embezzled more than UAH 370 million.

As а part of the pre-trial investigation, that and other property and corporate rights of the enterprise were seized.
